Pre-work

The questionnaire will need to be completed before the feedback session, on average it takes 30 minutes and there are no wrong or right answers.

Feedback Session

History of Myers Briggs

A brief summary of the questionnaire's life and how it is being used today. An overview of how the session will work and the main components of Myers Briggs ie the preference.

The Preferences

Extraversion - Introversion Preference - How are you energised?

The Facilitator will explain the essence of E and I and then describe both sides of the scale, so that Jonny can determine his preference.

Sensing - iNtuition Preference - How do you take in information?

A complex image will be shown to delegates and they will be given a specific time period to look at the picture. Once the image has been removed they will be asked to "Tell the Facilitator what was going on" - the words and language used will decide his preferred way of taking in information.

Thinking - Feeling Preference - How do you make decisions?

The facilitator will again provide an overview of the preference, and then ask individuals to define words, and also answer a specific question about appreciation and recognition.

Judging - Perceiving Preference - How do you live your life?

Everyone will all be asked to stand on paper on the floor - they will then be asked several questions, which depending on their answers will make them move between the pieces of paper.

Best fit - Try it on for size

At this stage delegates will have a self assessed profile this will now be compared with their reported profile.

80% of people have one preference different from their reported profile - so the facilitator will help them try their framework on for size and see how it feels.

So what - Review of the MBTI Profile Session

Reflective time for everyone to record their personal actions and discuss what this means to them.
